How The PS BJJ Association Came To Be

Pedro Sauer came to Salt Lake City from Brazil in 1991. The PS BJJ Association came to be in 1992 when Pedro met a young navy seal in Virginia Beach and began training.

Creating a Culture

Pedro Sauer's goal was to create a curriculum culture that was safe, accepting, and would ensure everyone would go home to their families invigorated and without injury.

Partnering With The Best

Pedro Sauer was a student of Rickson Gracie, the retired Brazilian Mixed Martial Artist and the son of Hélio Gracie (one of the primary developers of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) and has developed the art even further in his time as an instructor.
